FEATURED ON THIS POST :
Last Saturday, the Always Floral florist shop in the Spring area of Houston hosted the Houston Blogger Babes in an event that taught us how to make adorable floral arrangements.
The owner, Sabrina, established Always Floral in 2014 and has built a reputation around creating beautiful backdrops in her super cute, vintage style shop that evokes classic farm-chic vibes. She was the sweetest host and made learning easy and the whole process fun for the entire group. With her guidance, she taught us how to make our own floral arrangements; with our own style and flare, of course.
We learned the proper way to cut and prepare the flowers so that they stay fresh and alive much longer.
It was also quite an education to learn a plethora of flower species, most of which I only knew by site up until that point.
The evening flew by and I think it’s safe to say that the Houston Blogger Babe group had a great time. So much so that the chairs that were set up for us went unused the entire night. If y’all want a creative, novel activity to do with friends or co-workers I couldn’t recommend setting up an event with Always Floral enough. Of course, they’re also available to help you show appreciation to loved ones with that special bouquet or floral arrangement.
In case you’re wondering about my outfit: I wore a pastel romper that I’ve had for over a year. Unfortunately, I don’t have a link for that one specifically but did link some similar styles. I threw a jean jacket over top and partnered it with my favorite nude mid-rise sandals that came straight from Nordstrom. I accessorized it with David Yurman bracelets and Gucci Dionysus Super Mini
Bloom, which is perfect for a spring and summer bag.
